### Constraints
Do not turn logistics into a table inside prose. Every problem must appear through body, door, vehicle, bag, child, animal, hands, or movement.
### Future seeds
Need for Waverider space and communication, continued Steve signs, convoy too large for the road, Alex / Regina as complementary forms of order.
### How future seeds are allowed in prose
Through present-tense objects, actions, blocking, incomplete knowledge, and character-specific perception. No narrator announcement.
### Active-file contradictions to resolve
Check during the skeleton pass against `canon_ledger.md`, `chapters_summaries.md`, `worklist_by_parts_part3.md`, and any active prose master.
### Files to update after this chapter
`chapters_summaries.md`, `worklist_by_parts_part3.md`, `part3_chapter_logic_map.md`, and `canon_ledger.md` if canon changes.
### Existing planning summary
Chapter 61 opens the Avalance block in the past, during the Legends' last bowling night before the world tears open. It builds Sara, Ava, Mick, Gideon, and the rest of the Legends as a living home, so their loss lands as body, noise, affection, and absence, not as background information.
### Chapter role in this part
The chapter must serve Avalance's entry, the Waverider's grounded usefulness, suspicion, grief, space, water, and the slow build toward the single Steve radio proof at the end of Chapter 065.
### Physical opening
To be locked during the new skeleton pass from the previous chapter's physical ending. Do not reuse old prose if it contradicts the current block order.
### What the previous chapter leaves that must matter here
Carry forward physical continuity from the previous chapter: vehicles, route, supplies, injuries, children, animals, relationship state, knowledge state, and any active object or signal.
### What the next chapter must receive from here
The next chapter must receive a clear physical handoff, not just an emotional idea: location, vehicle arrangement, who is present, who knows what, and what problem is still open.
### Physically active characters
To be locked during the new skeleton pass. Do not place a character physically in the chapter only to mark canon. They need action, body, dialogue, knowledge, or consequence.
### Characters active through speech, memory, object, or absence
Use absence as an active force only when it affects behavior, objects, signs, dialogue, or body. Steve, Lexa, Anya, the Legends, Hawkins, Shoni, Seth / Summer, or Caskett may be active this way only when the block permits it.
### Knowledge map
| Character / group | Knows at start | Learns in chapter | Knows by end | Must not know yet |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Main convoy | To be filled during skeleton pass | To be filled through scene action | To be filled by physical ending | Cross-block information not yet earned |
| Block focus character
### Forbidden knowledge
No full Steve reunion in Part 3. No GPS solution. No stable radio rescue. No Anya learning Lexa through Steve. No Waverider magic. No side couple replacing the main core.
