9.9 Chapters 85-86, Hawkins Timeline and Distance

Chapters 85-86 lock that Steve, Anya, and the Hawkins group are not only a few hours behind the convoy, but following a relatively cold Ronance/Raven trail, with signs worn by rain, mud, water, and time.
The delay is not caused by Steve's lack of desire or ability to arrive. It comes from his repeated decision to bring all the children safely: Max with the injured leg, Mike, Will, Dustin, Lucas, Erica, and Eleven, together with the heavy, vulnerable van.
Eleven continues to be written without powers, with sharp spatial/material sight. In Chapters 85-86, Anya, Steve, and Layla actually listen to her when she identifies mud, weak bridges, tracks, weight, and vehicle routes.
By the end of Chapter 86, Hawkins is physically close to the convoy's route and leaves a sign of its own, but the reunion does not happen yet. The return remains for the opening of Part 4.
