2.1.4 Chapter 1, Day Zero Repair Locked and Completed

In the draft Chapter 1, in Lexa's POV, clarification entered through a memory cut from the first week and Costia. Costia's bite remains the central fracture, but the world was already in a wave of collapse before Costia was bitten.

Locked in Chapter 1 after the draft:

Lexa remembers that the first week did not begin with Costia, it began with voices on the radio.
She heard reports that did not match one another: parallel hotspots, hospitals falling, officers shooting people who had already died once.
No one knew whether it was air, water, disease, or something else.
Costia's bite was not the beginning, it was the moment the global end entered Lexa's hands.
After a year and a half, Lexa no longer looks for a clear source because a clear source does not bring anyone back.

This is not written as an essay, but as Lexa's living memory, with radio, police station, blood, Costia, and the gun in her hand. Future chapters do not need to repair Chapter 1 again around Day Zero unless the draft itself is reopened.
