Mike Wheeler is the leader of "the Party," Nancy's little brother, El's boyfriend / first love, and one of the most consistent emotional anchors of the kid group across all five seasons. He starts as the kid with the basement and the Dungeons & Dragons campaign, and grows into a more complex teenager who tries to balance loyalty to his friends, his romantic relationships, his sister, and the weight of years inside Hawkins's horror.
