3. Raven's arc in the show

3. Raven's arc in the show

Season 1: Raven comes down to Earth after refurbishing an old escape pod to reach Finn. Almost from the first moment she becomes the technical anchor of the camp — building radio, weapons, communication solutions, and proving she is far beyond "Finn's ex." [1]

Seasons 2-4: Here the show really starts to break her. She is shot in the leg, suffers from long-term pain, gets entangled with trauma, loss, ALIE, hard moral choices, and on the other hand continues repeatedly to be the person who saves the others through her mind. [1]

Seasons 5-7: Raven is no longer only brilliant — she is also worn down. Her character becomes deeper through the question of how long you can keep saving others without cracking inside. The wiki explicitly describes that in season 7 she is already haunted by the death-choices she was forced to make, and feels her soul is "cracked" by all of it. [1]

In simple words: Raven's arc is not "mechanic who becomes a hero." She is a hero from the start, and the show is testing how many times you can put such a hero opposite pain until the cost starts appearing on her face too.
