Will Byers is the boy whose disappearance started the show. He is Joyce's son and Jonathan's brother, friend to Mike, Dustin, and Lucas, and one of the deepest emotional characters in Stranger Things. The famous canonical declaration of his love for Mike in season 4 places him at the heart of conversation about queer representation in the show. [1][2]
