4. How his character sounds and behaves

In terms of voice: Steve doesn't talk like Robin, doesn't talk like Nancy, and doesn't talk like Dustin. He has a more "simple" voice on the surface, but he is very sharp in moments of danger. He uses humor, sarcasm, and light flirting, both to charm and to not fully expose what actually hurts him.

He sounds:

More physical than verbal,
More "come on, let's go" than "let's analyze,"
Warmer than he admits,
And more vulnerable than he lets show.

In terms of body language:

He puts himself between threat and others,
He leans, moves, pushes, holds,
He's a person of body-forward even when the heart hasn't caught up yet,
He has a lot of ego through movement, but also a lot of compassion through movement.

If you write him correctly: He shouldn't sound like a philosopher, but he can hit precisely with one simple sentence when he sees truth in front of him.
