Henry's POV chapters

Long SwanQueen fic often gives Henry one or two POV chapters or interludes. The conventions:

His voice is age-appropriate, never adult-precocious
He sees more than the mothers think
He has his own friends, his own losses, his own developing identity
The "Mom" / "Ma" naming carries weight he understands
He uses storybook metaphors to think about real situations

A Henry POV chapter is most effective in three specific places in a fic:

The chapter where Henry first notices the romance forming (often before either mother does)
The chapter where Henry is in danger and the reader needs the inside view of his fear
The post-coupling chapter where Henry confirms what he sees — "they're happy now"
