Emotional spine: Recognition is not peace, it is a body being hit by proof.

Living-world realism: First contact must ask whether anyone followed Steve’s group, whether their route exposed the camp, and whether other eyes are on the gate.

Carry forward: Chapter 099 receives the first night after return with bite checks, water, rooms, shock, and sleeplessness.

Must preserve: No Jonathan death reveal yet. Do not reduce the scene to Ronance only. The whole camp changes.
