Chapter 114, The Lake Does Not Keep Everyone Safe

Chapter job: Make the youth / children’s language real, then prove the lake is not secure enough through Chase’s on-screen death.

Physical frame: Youth / children organizing, Rachel and Robin guiding, then gate event / breach / near-collapse.

Emotional spine: The camp has become alive enough to lose someone in a way that changes the whole place.

Living-world realism: The breach can involve living dead, living people, a moving vehicle, a watched route, or a human-made opening, but it must prove the lake’s vulnerability.

Carry forward: Chapter 115 receives a wounded camp ready to hear the Gideon / base signal differently.

Must preserve: Chase’s death must be action, not a note. Do not kill him before he matters. Do not use animal death for shock.
