Chapter 003, The Houses That Did Not Wait

Summary: The expanded Hawkins block continues as the trio leaves the library, moves through streets and homes, finds notes and objects, loses the world they knew, and receives the direction toward Virginia. Nancy receives a route from her family without certainty, Robin discovers her parents packed and left without even a note, and Steve finds his parents as living dead in the Harrington house and has to kill them / help kill them. Early Ronance begins through care, competence and proximity, while Steve's grief for his own family becomes physical blood, not background sadness.
