Chapter 200, Second Wave of Grief and Guardianship

General role: Let grief for Ted, Jonathan, and Lucas’s father sit beside living family continuity. Lucas’s mother and Dustin’s grandmother are alive and must not be treated as dead. Part 7 may use relay/community contact for Piper’s Cal/Neri closure and other wider-world traces.

Receives: Chapter 199 brings surviving family and older adults into the city.

Must preserve: city systems must stay physical; core couples must remain emotionally visible; children, animals, food, water, gates, injuries, roads, rescue routes, and living-world danger cannot disappear because the chapter has theme.

Handoff: Chapter 201 receives a city changed by family return, grief, and guardianship, ready to prepare for a public wedding as a civic statement.
