General role: Absorb Matt and Julie into the city, then move forward through work, families, children, and external missions. Do not rebuild the Legends return. Do not hint endlessly at old plot. Let the city breathe.

Receives: Chapter 196 leaves an ordinary family line inside the city.

Must preserve: city systems must stay physical; core couples must remain emotionally visible; children, animals, food, water, gates, injuries, roads, rescue routes, and living-world danger cannot disappear because the chapter has theme.

Handoff: Chapter 198 receives a city ready for a larger family-return wave and a more public definition of home.
